June 10 an essay is due
Hey it’s not Rocket Science! Or is it?
Describe how the design or launching of your rocket relates to these 6 topics:
Newton’s 1st law;
Newton’s 2nd law;
Newton’s 3rd law;
Law of conservation of energy;
Potential Energy;
kinetic energy.
For each topic, write a paragraph that discusses each topic. Make sure to identify, define, give an example from the rocket and elaborate why or how it applies to your rocket to make it behave the way it does or how it affected the way you designed the rocket. The rubric below will determine your grade.
Rocket your way into learning. The water rocket is a good way to demonstrate what you have learned about classical physics, forces, motion and Newton’s three laws of motion. 6 paragraphs
In each paragraph...Identify, Define, give example of how it applies to your rocket, Elaborate ofn how or why it works or affects how you design your rocket.

Defines all 6 full definitions
Example: Uses a correct example for all 6, as it applies to the rocket you or a classmate launched
Elaborates: CORRECTLY Elaborates why or how the topic applies to the rocket TO ALL 6
