homework for Monday night

12/1/2014 Complete the first two steps of the Engineering Design Process for the mousetrap vehicle. Review Mr. H's Blog with the problem on it. Also include the science that needs to be considered and how that applies the vehicle. Step one is to design the process. Identify the problem from the objective of the technology problem. What are you trying to achieve? What are the design constraints? Identify how Newton’s 3 Laws of motion apply to the vehicle. What contributes to the net force (Fnet = MA) How does the mass affect the acceleration? What is better, a fast acceleration over a short period of time, or a slow acceleration over a longer period of time? Step two Gather Background information...

weekend hw

Finish the acceleration worksheet, both sides. Have a good weekend.

Thursday, September 18, 2014

finish rubric on scalar and vector measurements and how they are different.

Make sure to include a situation for each in which you would use a scalar measurement to describe motion, and an example of a situation that would be best to use a vector measurement.
